Loomis Tank Centers Blog » alt-build expo http://loomistank.com/blog Fri, 30 Dec 2011 17:39:02 +0000 en hourly 1 Alt-Build Expo http://loomistank.com/blog/2009/07/alt-build-expo/ http://loomistank.com/blog/2009/07/alt-build-expo/#comments Thu, 02 Jul 2009 23:33:37 +0000 admin http://loomistank.com/blog/?p=37 On May 8th and 9th of 2009, Dan Loomis, President and Mark Brokaw, General Manager attended the 2009 Alt Build Expo in Santa Monica, CA.  They along with over 120 other exhibitors participated in the 6th Annual event held at the Santa Monica Civic Center Auditorium.  Santa Monica has set high standards for building construction and its green building program actively promotes green building technologies and practices through education, outreach and incentives.  Almost 10,000 building professionals, homeowners, developers and regulatory officials came to learn and take part in cutting edge developments in the field of green building from the array of diverse exhibitors and from a series of lectures by renowned experts.

 

The Loomis Tank Centers booth featured models of the Loomis Rain Harvesting and grey water systems.  The hundreds of people that stopped by the booth and visited with Dan and Mark were provided with information regarding our line of polyethylene, fiberglass and galvanized steel above and below ground water tanks as well as the variety of rain harvesting and grey water components needed to complete the appropriate system.

 

Both agreed that there was a tremendous amount of interest in both rain collection and reusing grey water.  They definitely plan on attending this very professionally run expo next year May 7th and 8th 2010.
