The Aqua2Use Greywater Recycling System distributed by Loomis Tank Centers provides and efficient and economical way to collect household gray water and redirect it to gardens and landscape areas for irrigation.
What is greywater?
Greywater (also spelled grey water, graywater or gray water) is wastewater generated from domestic sources such as bathrooms sinks, showers, tubs and washing machines. Grey water does not include wastewater from the kitchen or bathroom toilet which is classified as "black water."
How can you use this graywater?
Greywater can be diverted from the appropriate bathroom fixtures and washing machine by your local plumber to a grey water recycling system. This system can then provide water suitable for irrigating most ornamental plants, non-fruit-bearing trees, shrubs and lawn areas. Providing organic or biocompatible detergents and soaps are used in the home, this nutrient-rich graywater can be very beneficial to your garden.
