Ribbed Cisterns (water storage tanks) ( ribbed install | sphere install )
- Ideal for underground storage of water for drinking, fire protection, irrigation and rain harvesting.
- Same watertight features as septic tanks.
- Manufactured from high-density linear polyethylene (HDLPE)–compliant with FDA Reg. 21 CFR 177.1520 [C3.1] and NSF.
- Thicker-wall version of septic tank design.
- Multiple fitting locations.
- Water tanks may be easily plumbed together in series to increase total underground storage capacity.
- Cisterns are furnished with manhole covers only.

Heavy Duty Low-Pro Cisterns (water storage tanks) (installation)
Low-profile polyethylene cisterns share all the features and benefits of the ribbed tanks listed above. These water tanks also have a lower profile which reduces required excavation depth. The heavy-duty design of these water tanks make them suitable for more extreme applications.

Aquifer Low Profile Cistern Tanks strong, durable, quality construction is designed for bulk collection and storage of potable or non-potable water. Tanks can be used in below and above ground applications. Aquifers can be buried up to 28″ deep and can be backfilled empty.
- Sectional Ribbing designed to withstand up to 400 PSF load pressure
