About Our Above-Ground Water Tanks
Loomis Tank Centers offer the highest quality water tanks for drinking water, fire protection, irrigation, disaster preparedness, water strorage (well water), rainwater collection and more. Our plastic water tanks (polyethylene) range in size from 205 to 10,000 gallons, easily accomodating all of your water storage needs. We also offer 3 or 5 year warranties (depending on the water tank model).
Highest Quality Water Tanks
Our water tanks meet the stringent standards of the US Dpeartment of Interior, USDA, FDA, DOT, NRCS & ASTM. Water tanks that were put into service many years ago are still performing in a variety of extreme weather conditions. These water tanks are manufactured with a UV-inhibiting resin to combat the deteriorating effects of sunlight, and our water tanks are resistant to extreme hot and cold temperatures.

Our water tanks are opaque to retard algae growth, and poly plastic water tanks can be set right on flat, level ground. Our water tanks are also easy to repair if accidently damaged. Water tank colors include desert tan and dark green to blend with your surrounding environment.

Below-Ground Cistern Water Tanks
We offer both plastic (polyethylene) and fiberglass below-ground water tanks (aka cisterns). Sizes range from 50 to 1,000,000 million gallons. Our below-ground water tanks are ideal for potable water storage, fire protection, general water storage, irrigation, rainwater and grey water.
Highest Quality Cistern Water Tanks
Our below-ground water tanks have the same water-tight features as septic tanks, but with a thicker wall. Our plastic below-ground water tanks are manufactured using a high-density linear polyethylene (plastic) that complies with FDA, CFR and NSF regulations.

Our below-ground water tanks tanks can be plumbed together in series to increase total underground water storage capacity. Also, our below-ground water tanks are furnished with manhole covers.

Steel Water Tanks
Our steel water tanks come in a variety of sizes, and accomodate up 700 - 700,000 gallons. These steel water tanks are constructed of corrugated, galvanized, punched and rolled wall sheets that are bolted together at the project site.
Highest Quality Steel Water Tanks
Our steel water tanks are fitted with a geotextile preliner and flexible membrane liner on the inside for water storage containment. Requires a solid foundation (usually concrete). The liner then distributes the water load uniformly across the foundation area. Steel water storage tank liners are available that comply with NSF-61 standars for potable water use.
